    Over 2.7 million guests will be welcomed by Etihad Airways this summer

    Following a surge in demand for global travel, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport have prepared to welcome 2.7 million network passengers over the summer months. Abu Dhabi International Airport will welcome 1.4 million passengers, including 330,000 locals, with more than 1,100 departures per week across the network.

Due to the increased number of passengers during the summer holidays, Etihad has enhanced its operations internationally and locally to ensure a seamless airport and flight experience. Checking in online, submitting any COVID-19-related travel documents for prior approval, and arriving early at the airport are recommended.
